Expedition PCB: Retrieve nested cells information on PCB by Automation

This script is to get nested cells information that can be used in BOM or other manufacturing purpose.

 

PCB Automation does not have capability to find the child component that is nested inside a component. But, Component.IsNested is available to know the parent if the component is nested inside another component.

 

Attached script collects nested component information by starting from cells collection, gets components collection that uses each cell, and then find nested information.

 

The result will be displayed to a dialog as below. (If there are two or more nested cells, they will be listed in the dialog)
