I get the following notice when I have a differential pair length rule assigned to a pair of nets. I am using the ES suite and didn't expect that the ES suite would not allow lenght rules. Is this correct or does my system have an issue? I was under the impression that the ES suite had full capabilities for routing with rules.
"You are not licensed to autoroute designs with length rules. These rules will be ignored by autorouting."
The PADS ES Suite includes interactive routing of high-speed contrained nets such as matched lengths, max/min lengths, and differential pairs. For automatic routing of these type of constrained nets, you would need the PADS Autorouter HSD option.
BTW, I'm hosting a webinar on October 27 on this topic. If you're interested, you can register at http://www.mentor.com/products/pcb-system-design/events/avoid-the-pitfalls-of-manual-pcb-routing
