A question about remote licenses...

I use a PADS setup from home that calls to a remote license. When I want to use PADS in demo mode, I want to just shut off the linking software (NetScreen Remote).




My PADS keeps trying to "phone home" to the license when I am in demo mode, and runs very slowly andI'm guessing constantly has to time out from attempted pings to the license? Shutting down my internet connection fixes this, but is incredibly annoying and inconvenient. And why does simply turning off the NetScreen program not work but shutting down the internet does?


Is there any way to stop it from doing that without shutting off my internet? And if I'm correct,  why must it ping the license so often? Or have to time out from not seeing the license? That doesn't seem necessary.

To Help select Check For Update and check the box 'Disable for Check Updates' functionality.
