regarding 8 port s-parameter

Hello

 

For high speed channel modeling purpose I have couple of 8-Port S-parameter model in touchstone format. I need to import that file into an instance. Similar one I found in MGC_MACROLIB in the name of sparam_2port. Can anyone help me regading this.

I'm not sure what you mean by "import that file into an instance" but HyperLynx and ICX will simulate with the 8-port s-parameter without any issue.  Where are you trying to use this model (i.e. HyperLynx LineSim, BoardSim, ICX, etc)?

Thanks for replying. I got the answer from Mentor Graphics supportnet..they send me the symbol for the staff I am looking for.

Sending you with the symbol?  There is no special symbol needed, only S parameter file is needed.

In linesim, you can put a package/connetor symbol, the RMB, assigning the 8-port S parameter file.
