Improve drawing speed with Inside and Crossing windows

Version 2

Selecting multiple entities can be time consuming and tricky if you are clicking on them individually, one very useful feature is the two styles of window selection that are available in AutoCAD/VeSys  these are the 'Inside Window' and 'Crossing Window', below is a description of what they are and how to use them.

    Inside Window

This will only select entities that are completely contained within the window, if any part of the component/wire is outside of the window it will not be selected.  To use an 'Inside Window' press and hold your left mouse button and drag a window from the left of the screen to the right.  On early versions of AutoCAD the border of the window will be solid, on later versions of AutoCAD there will also be a blue color background applied to the window area.

    Crossing Window

    This will select entities that

come in contact with the window, if any part of the component/wire is crossed by the window it will be selected.  To use a 'Crossing Window' press and hold your left mouse button and drag a window from the right of the screen to the left.  On early versions of AutoCAD the border of the window will be dashed, on later versions of AutoCAD there will also be a green color background applied to the window area.
