Seriously? Why would Mentor allow one to copy and paste data from a single cell in CES and not from multiple selections? Let's suppose that I need to get length matching data from multiple boards so that I can length match across my system. It sure would be convenient to grab that data out of CES, pull it into excel and do some simple math. Instead I have to go convince Mentor that they should give me a license to export MY OWN DATA. It is decisions like these that have me muttering under my breath and cursing Mentor's name more frequently than bears thinking about.
I think Mentor shoul re-think the phase out of CES automation. If Mentor think the CES automation may cause a corrupted and unrevoverable database on some of cases, Mentor should improve it.
I support Yanfeng's view.
Is there a difference between CES automation to Dx or ExpeditionPCB automation in this respect?
