This video and procedure will step you through the process of updating your hardware key (dongle) driver using the built-in licensing functionality of the Mentor Install Program (MIP).

If you have not already downloaded and installed the latest Mentor Standard Licensing (MSL), please view the video for Downloading and Installing the Mentor Licensing Software (video) and then download and install MSL/PCLS before you procede.

Note: As of the MSL v2012_1, Some hardware keys are no longer supported. There is a replacement process documented in the Hardware Key (Dongle) Discontinuations and Replacement FAQ. If you intend to run an application or a license server based on v2012_1, please read that FAQ. The MSL v2011_2 release contains the last supported drivers for the standard FLEXID keys and can be found in the Archive area of the Mentor Standard Licensing download.
