Q: What is the A2B Analyzer Software?

A: The A2B Analyzer Software is a combination of

  • A2B Analyzer Application (enables users to configure their A2B network and simulate this network through versatile audio routing)
  • Comprehensive Software Development Kit to allow users to develop custom applications

Q: How do I get a copy of the A2B Analyzer Application?

A: With the purchase of the A2B Analyzer System, users can download a copy of the Windows and Linux installers from Mentor Graphics SupportNet.

Q: What output file formats are supported by the Network Builder?

A: The Network Builder supports a human-readable format YAML, SES, C file header, and a binary format based on Google Protocol Buffers.

Q: Is source code provided for the A2B Analyzer Application?

A: No.

Q: Can the Node Simulator tool be used to configure/simulate  the Analyzer as a slave node on the A2B network?

A: Yes, the Analyzer can simulate both a master and a slave node, and this can be configured using the Node Simulator. Make sure to use v2.0.0.2 or newer of the Node Simulator.

Q: No audio is playing after running discovery and starting audio/tones?

A: This is likely because the CODEC on the slave has not been initialized.  If you are using an Analog Devices WBZ/WGZ ADI evaluation board, you need to set the "Slave I2C Init" to the file located under samples/cfg/eeprom/wbz_wgz_au1761_eeprom.bin.
