How do you add a connector that can be shown on many sheets or places like shown in the test drive where it shows the places of the other instances of the connector?
Also, how do you have a connector attach to the device?
This can be done by simply double clicking the left mouse button on the connector in the browser tree on the left hand side of the window. This will then prompt you to select which pins you wish to place. Moving the mouse back over to the diagram will then change the mouse cursor to the connector symbol and you can now draw a new instance of that connector. When finished the cross-reference text should appear on both copies of the symbol.
And to answer the second question, to mate a connector to a device, you just drag the connector so that it touches the edge of the device.
Note that the connector must be a plug rather than a receptacle in order to mate to a device.
