    How To Make a PADMASTER in PADS layout ?

      Hi Guys . i tried a lot . how to make PADMASTER in PADS LAYOUT . i m Using PADS 9.0 . PADMASTER mean the Pads with centre hole open . that is the centre hole open at the centre of PAD . my PCB manufacturer wants That File . pls tell me how to do that . pls pls pls

          I don't understand why your manufature really need this type of data. Althoug In Expeditionpcb, you can output it by using boolean operation in mask generation, and it's also possible to process it on the CAM system, but I don't rember whether Pads can do such way except re-defining the throug type padstacks .

          I suggest you call your manufacture asking why. Even that is a press-fit components, it can't bring you with any advantages to let soldmask fully covering your pads.

            Hi thnx for replying me . they need it for drill purpose. they dont drill using CNC machine . they use Hand drill . this PADMASTER file is not used for Print. it is used for drilling purpose. the step is to drill first using PADMASter . then using thinner they vanish the ink . i m not using PADS EXPEDITION . i m using PADS 9 . do u know how to achive in there . the boolean masking procedure can be done in PADS 9 ? if yes how? doesnt matter if holes coming open on masking layer . i just want **** hole open . i usually genrate POSTSCRIPT file using print menu . pls thank you.
