Design Center is just XML-format configuration file (valornpi.config.xml) and it's located under the directory of %SDD_HOME%\Valor_NPI\sys\desing_centers. Any customed DC file should keep the directory tree type of
If CES find there are DC files under the %SDD_HOME%\Valor_NPI\sys\desing_centers, it will let user to select one of them.
If you like to put those DC file out of the default tree, you need to set VALOR_DC_DIR in the env file.

Additionally, DC set isn't support in the template of central library yet, however you can set it in a blank pcb.
We have been using Valor NPI in the similar fashion as the old 8.0 flow but we are 9.2 (currently) How many different design centers do you currently use to match your design profiles? We have been thinking of Low , Medium & High Tech and normalizing capabilities of all PCB Fabricators within the checklists etc
Currently, we have 5 rules settings for differenet products(Mobile phones, Power electronics and IT infractrure etc). Our desingers never intall Valor on thier desktop, they just use internal-develope client GUI to throw thier design to back-end servers with valor install and get the DFx validation result report(HTML)
Our client support to cross-probe between Layout (Both Allegro and Xpedition) and the report. It works well and welcomed by all designers. We also developed scripts in server side to automate totally the proc
