This is a problem some customers have experienced. Unfortunately, we haven't discovered the root cause. You can edit the Sentinel LDK License Manager service and change the Startup type to "Automatic (Delayed Start)". That may help.
We switched to Windows 10.
I'm now running VX.1.1 with HASP driver 18.104.22.168 with no problems.
After installing new expedition (VX2.2) licenses, the tools no longer worked. With the old one we had no problems anytime. When I managed to get the Expedition Designer up and running, I wasn't successful with the Expedition layout. It is still not possible to invoke the layout tool. The strange thing was that the Library Manager always worked during this time.
If I try to invoke the layout after packaging the following message appears (see attached: Xpedition Layout Error):
Unable to acquire license for feature „wgascentl2“ [mgls_errno = 203]
I downloaded and ran the Mentor License Utility. The result was that most of the licenses are there but not „wgascentl2“ (see Results of Mentor License Utility).
What is wrong and how can this problem be solved?
