We have some users running autocad without vesys (2008.2) trying to view and print off cable drawings for review and markup. They can view everything on their pc's, but when they print off the wiring diagram there are black bars covering the wire info. We have found that there is a block obstructing the info that can be 'greyed' out in the plot settings menu, but the rest of the diagram becomes hard to read. Has anyone found an easier fix for non-vesys users to print wiring diagrams?
In order to view / print VeSys Classic objects the ARX objects need to be accessible by AutoCAD, which therefore requires a VeSys Classic installation alongside AutoCAD.
If you migrate to VeSys 2.0 then there is no requirement for AutoCAD, it is also possible to print smart PDF files (with hyperlinking between sheet cross references).
