Would you dine differential pairs? Hyperlynx 8.2 supports to define differ pairs by natname's suffix.
By differential pair I meant signals like D+/D- in USB.
Any way to do it in hyperlynx 8?
According to the tech note you have to define the singals as diff pair in ibis file.
In my case, the singals are already defined as diff pairs in the ibis model.
Since the IBIS [Diff Pins] is defined by component, if you have two reference designators for the driver outputs (or two reference designators for the receiver inputs ), the [Diff Pins] will not work in that case. If the assignment is done by pin and not by .ref or .qpl, the [Diff Pins] may not be being utilized. You might have an assignment in the .bud file that is overriding the model assignment.
You may want to open a service request on supportnet and send us the design files. We can investigate the entire setup carefully. There may be details in the setup that can help us find the issue quickly.
If u r new to tool, you might have missed to check an option"EXPORT COUPLED NETS" while exporting.
Else its better to raise service request as suggested by ed.
