if I remember correctly VeSys is only capable of DC simulations and that is a fairly limited range of functions - no latch circuits, only one battery and so on. Also note that any simulation MUST have an "earth" to the battery 0 V terminal for the simulation to function correctly (at least it used to).
Things have moved on, VeSys 2.0 does allow for more complex analysis (you can develop your own models including behaviour, so there is no problem with latch circuits) also you can allow multiple batteries in the same design too.
Have you taken a look at VeSys 2.0 yet?
