I'm using Sourcery CodeBench Lite to compile for the Xilinx Zynq processor. However, I need to be using uClibc instead of glibc. Is there an easy way to recompile the toolchain so that I can do that? Thanks.
jschell: We used to have ARM ucLinux variants but do not have that configuration currently. While the source available probably can be recompiled for ucLinux since we've not built that codebase for that target combination I don't know if you'll end up with something viable. Take a look at the post after this one for more info on rebuilding from source.
Ok, I have the source tarball. How would I normally build it to make the toolchain without any modifications?
In the source tarball you'll find a build transcript that records the build commands that were used to build the binary that you have. You'll have to adapt this as needed to suit your purposes.
I'm not going to be able to provide you with instructions on how to buld the toolchain to meet your goal. I don't personally know. I hope this at least got you pointed in the right direction. Good luck.
