    EE7.9.4 migration problem

    joseph.spang1

      Bonjour,

      Merci

I just upgraded to version EE7.9.4.

The concurrency setting does not work at all!

The RSCM is EE7.9.4, the users are also EE7.9.4.

I use the RSCM multirelease mode.

My ports are different for each release.

      What do I do now?

      Should I stop other release?

      thank you

      Joseph

          Hi Joseph,

Could you please open a Service Request for this issue so we can investigate your exact configuration.

          Best regards

          Jackie

In order to use multiple releases on a single server each service must use a different port starting at 9000. So to use say 7.9.2. 7.9.3 and 7.9.4 on a single server you should decide which port to assign to each release in the RSCM Configurator dialog. Say for example you assign 9002 to 7.9.2, 9003 to 7.9.3 and 9004 to 7.9.4, then to use the correct server with each version the Server address in the project setting must be modified to include the port number. So for a 7.9.2 project you need to modify the Server name entry in the Settings - Project dialoog to servername:9002. Similarly for 7.9.3 it would be servername:9003 and for 7.9.4 servername:9004. In each case the servername is the same.

              Joseph,

If you are only using a single release the disable multi-release mode an the port will revert to 9000. In this case the project setting won't need to be changed.

Either turn off multi-release and re-install 7.9.4 from the RSCM Configurator or send a screenshot of the RSCM Configurator settings and I'll try and advise you. Sometimes stopping and starting the RSCM service fixes the issue.

Alternatively call Customer Support as Jackie suggested.

Also, when you change the setting in DxDesigner you will need to restart DxDesigner, the change is not applied on saving the setting.
