You can try to run DxDF from command line using sch2pdf utility (with all needed switches) and then you can redirect command line window output (Windows console output) to text file. Please try to use > (or >>) operator.
It is just GUI layer for DxDesigner PDF utility. User can run GUI mode directly from DxDesigner or use command line utility to export .pdf document.

When I tried to run sch2pdf from the command line, I first got an error message "Application popup: sch2pdf.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point ..."
But then I found that there are 2 sch2pdf.exe in the MentorGraphics-folder, one from 2011 and one from 2013, and the newer one is working.
But I would prefer that the log is just always written into the project folder, or to have a switch in DxPDF to turn on this writing of the log.
