I have a pad with the slot , but why it appear as a round shape in the NcDrill?
Is this correct?
Pads CAM preview for Nc drill only display the drill size for slot hole on the slot's center, that is why you only see circle holes on those slot positions. However it will output correct slot data in NC drill file. If you use third party CAM tool like Viewmate to check the drill file, you can see those slot.
My initial attachment is open by the 3rd party CAM Tool, that is y it appear round shap..
i try using Viewmate but it split into 2 part (see attachment)..and doesn't show any slot..
In Viewmate, how to open the drill file? File -> Open -> ncdrill.drl ?
Excellon use G85 code to tell drill machine it's a slot drill, so you can check your drill file in ASCII editor to see whether some lines have G85 codes. you can post your drill file here and I will check it what's wrong behind it.
Please refer to the attachment.
There are 3 slot holes with 0.03937" drill size(width) /0.067" length inch length in your drill file:

Your drill file is correct and CAM350/Gerbtool/Viewmate all can be correctly display this drill file. If you found the display is odded in your side, I suggest you take checks to your setting while loading drill file into th CAM tool.
Appreciate your prompt reply.
Thank you very much.
I can confirm Yanfeng. The preview in CAM350 is OK (see attachment).
Thank you Vladimir.
