There are plenty of discussions on this forum about DRC-121 and how to configure it to catch issues with internal nets. The checks are used as a safeguard to ensure you have the intended connectivity - DxDesigner connects nets by name and doesn't require any intervening connection symbol to verify the connection. Some flows such as Mentor's Design Capture required inter and intra page connectors on each similarly named net to verify the connection was intended. DRC-121 can be configured to emulate these checks by using link symbols of different kinds to flag potential violations, the link symbols in themselves to do change connectivity. See the following threads:
Thanks for the reply.
Some useful information.
I have configured drc-121 check to have the intra page connector and I have gone around my schematic adding it to all the nets.
However it is still being flagged in the verify window as an error.
What am I doing wrong?
I have added a couple of pictures to show my settings.
1st = DRC_settings.jpg which shows the drc rule drc-121 and the error listed when run.
2nd = page from the schematic which shows the connector added to the net.
You need to include the library partition and symbol extension in your symbol definitions, for example Basic:con_intra.1 etc.
