I have a multiboard project in linesim and as far as i have read in the documentation the only way to assign the stackup of the involved boards is to add an air layer in between them. That's fine for me, however the stackup editor gets really slow when i'm editing a single parameter (say thickness) of the second board. And i have one more board to add. It stays for about 20 seconds to apply one parameter.
1) Is there a better way to define complex stack-ups in linesim? Or avoid re-calculations every time i change one parameter of the stackup?
2) Is there a file i can use to edit the stackup instead of going through the gui?
I'm using Hyperlynx 9.1
Ok, i figured it out. Disable View -> Calculate Z0.
