You could try another EDIF Schematic export tool that is not currently exposed in the UI, this might give you the results you require in this case. To run it bring up a CMD prompt and run the following from wherever you 'SDD_HOME' Mentor installation folder is located:
'path to SDD_HOME'\wv\win32\bin\edifExporter.exe -schematic -icdb ./database -top scb -o Filenamescb.eds
Where scb is your top schematic block name and Filenamescb.eds is the output file name generated. More information on the command can be found by using the help option.
Thanks for the prompt answer Robert.
Your suggested solution to use command line execution of edifExporter.exe with the -schematic switch worked successfully.
It executed with no errors and the output file imports directly into JTAG Visualizer.
I’ve done a quick review of the 31 sheets and all looks good with the minor exception of some descriptive text that’s been lost.
I’m not concerned about the text as the important content such as net names, component references, pin numbers…….. all appear intact.
this has been ridiculous. Stop sending those garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
