Calibre 2008.4 quarterly release now available, and changes to Calibre xRC SVRF syntax

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know that Calibre 2008.4 is now available. You can download it from SupportNet at:

There's documentation that you can also download from SupportNet. One useful document is the Calibre Release Notes, which summarizes all of the changes in this release.

 

 

 

For Calibre xRC, new PEX SVRF syntax is being introduced over the course of the

2008.3, 2008.4 and 2009.1 releases.  These new SVRF commands combine

the functionality of, and will replace, existing PEX SVRF commands and

environment variables used for production.

 

 

 

The motivation was to enhance the user interface, streamline the SVRF syntax and provide a single entry point for tool control.
