How to re-order the columns within Variant Manager

I am using DxDesigner verison 7.9.1 in Expedition flow.

We have a design were it has several variant set up within variant manager.

In simple terms these are based on voltage, so we have for example 3 variants (1 for each of) 200V, 400V and 600V.

Now within the design we need to add a new variant (call it 500V), when I add this to the exisiting variant manager matrix it appends this new variant to the end of the list.

So now my variants look like 200V, 400V, 600V, 500V.

My question is how can I now re-order these variants so that they are in the correct voltage order (i.e. 200V, 400V, 500V, 600V)

I have used the Number field within the Variant Definition dialog so that the numbers are in the correct order but this does not seem to have nay affect on the order in which the variants are displayed.
