I am writing blocking statements in XRC deck.
Can i use AND,OR,NOT ...etc commands in the XRC deck?
Actually i used it,but it doesn't showed any ERROR.But i couldn't find that derived layer in Calibre Designrev.
The xRC uses the same SVRF as LVS and DRC. But if you're trying to block capacitances in devices, you should look into pex map, and pex ignore capacitance.
Thanks for Answering.
When i use these Boolean operations in my XRC deck to create the derived layers it doesn't show any errors.
But these derived layers are not present in Calibre Designrev(DRV).
If i can see these derived layers in DRV i can use them as marker_layer to block the CAP under it.
Thanks for your help.
If you want to see derived layers with calibre Designrev you must create an output rule
ERC RESULTS DATABASE filename.ascii
ERC MAXIMUM RESULTS ALL
ERC SUMMARY REPORT filename.sum
ERC SELECT CHECK output_derived_layer
FLATTEN derived_layer // use FLATTEN if you want to see all polygons
