Have you tried looking in the 'Other Parts' folder of VeSys Components?
Thanks for the reply (wow, you are up late!).
I'm the one building the databse, so I'm looking for a grease to add to the folder, not really a VeSys question, more of an engineering advice/help question.
It's not too late (8:05pm), I was just doing some surfing and have set a notification of new posts in the forum and spotted this one from you
Land Rover used to brush on some kind of grease to the chassis earth points, I can't remember what it was that they used but I'll ask around on Monday when I'm back in the office.
Have a good weekend!
Lol, late enough to be working on a Friday night!
You're not Peter Shaw are you?
Not really working, I just have my work e-mail running in the background
No no not Pete Shaw, my name is Joel....you may remember me from companies like VeSys and Mentor Graphics
Hey Mr Pointon!
So who are you working for now, Mentor, LandRover, VeSys?
I'm sort of independant...I do a lot of Technical work on behalf of Jon Collins in the UK as well as supporting the US distributors with new customers. I also spend a lot of time at SAIC Motor Technical Center in the UK doing Circuit/Harness Design and of course doing a lot fo VeSys drawing work
You might want to check out Tectyl.
Where I worked before we sprayed some type of Tectyl on exposed parts, battery terminals and such when shipping by boat.
Sorry, don't remember to be more specific but i know they had a lot of different products.
You probably have figured something out by now, but I just saw this post.
We have used two different versions over the years.
