    Routing Differential Pairs in VX

    kelly.perryman

In Expedition you could hold down the Alt key and pick up just one track/via of a differential and move it independently of the other.

I've tried doing this in VX 1.1 and instead of moving the one track/via as I expected, it's putting in vias instead.

How to I move one track/via of a diff pair on it's own like I use to in Expedition?  Anyone have any ideas?

          Hi Kelly,

Hold the ‘ctrl’ key down and then select the pin/pad you want to route away from (keep the key depressed).

Whilst the key is still depressed click on the plow/mulitplow button or just drag away from the pad and you’ll be routing only one trace of the Diff Pair.

          Best Regards
