Hi Niranjan. I am so glad you were able to PADS Standard Plus! I hope you got a good deal. Now you'll be able to get the new VX.1.2 release which is due out imminently. Included in the new download (and, I believe in your download) is our migration guide which includes tips and advice for moving from the netlist flow to integrated flow. I also moved your question to the PADS community where it will have greater visibility to other PADS customers.
Thank you for quick reply. I found the documentation and looks like it take more time to migrate. My real intention is to use the hyper lynx based SI and thermal simulation coming with the license. Can I do it from netlist flow? If yes, which is the best tutorial I can find?
I'm glad you're trying out the SI and thermal capabilities! They are real advantages of the PADS Standard Plus suite and both can be used with either the netlist or integrated flow. To get familiar with them, try the evaluation guide included with your software or sign up for the cloud-based virtual lab on Pre-Layout and Post-Layout Analysis Virtual Lab - Mentor Graphics. There are also a number of HyperLynx lessons in the Mentor Learning Center that are available free of charge. You might want to check those out as well. Good luck!
