xDX Designer, the first marquee A, then hold down the Ctrl key, marquee B, then A and B Net overlapping portions will be deselected. See Fig. This problem DXDesigner7.9 to xDX Designer VX.1.1 persist. This is a bug it?
No this is not a bug, Ctrl+Select first selects then de-selects and in VX.1 this was made to be consistent.
I think this is unreasonable, as shown above, so just deselect the net, component remains in the selected state. Also, if I want net and component in areas A and B, select all, how does it work? Hold down the Shift key can not achieve.
I suggest you post an Idea on the ideas site if you require different behaviour. There seems to be inconsistency between nets and symbols, but in general successive use of Ctrl should select then de-select.
Why not select the whole circuit, then de-select the bottom right hand corner part.
Or don't intersect with A when selecting the bottom section of B.
Figure A and B is just my example to illustrate this problem, marquee A and B, are different to select the whole circuit, then de-select the bottom right hand corner part, such deselect put some only partially contained in the Net A zone or area B deselected. As shown Net C. In addition, xDX Designer does not find de-select menu, if you hold down ctrl key marquee, will be like, as shown above, only de-select Net, component remains in the selected state.
Similarly, if do not intersect with A when selecting the bottom section of B, will put some portion of Area A, Area B section in Net deselected. As shown Net D.
successive use of Ctrl should select then de-select is possible, but now the phenomenon is very confused, like I said, just de-select Net, component remains in the selected state.
Also, if you can not use ctrl key, but can use the Shift key to achieve the effect I want, many other software are doing.
We use the shift key for a 'Smart' select - basically you preselect the object type you are interested in then 'Shift+Area Select' only selects objects of that type. What you're after is selection within a polygon.
I neglect, forget VX version, shift key for a 'Smart' select.
Sometimes need to adjust the schematic part of the device and Net location, or copy part of the circuit, in these cases, there may need selection within a polygon.
Even if the shift key is not available, but you can use the alt key, shift + ctrl key and so on.
Now is the realization of this function, multiple choice remains selected state, I feel that this demand should not be too specific.
Thank you for your patience answer！
