Happy New Year everyone.
So at the end of the calendar year our license ran out for the PADs layout tool. In the past I seem to recall this meant that you could still use the program but you no longer got support or updates. It appears that's no longer the case. When I opened the tool I'm getting the "no license" prompt and it then runs in demo mode - which means I can't save/export etc etc. I've tried restarting the license service but no dice.
So, the question is...is this now normal? I know we've used PADs in the past with an expired license and things worked fine...no longer? Can I only use PADs with outputs enabled if I have a current license?

You should be able to obtain a perpetual licence from Mentor for the latest version that was available when your maintenance expired.
You'll have to contact Mentor sales to get this.
