I ran Calibre LVS and from Calibre RVE finder i highlighted a net, now i want to export the net into a new gds with all the layers present in the net, Is it possible?
If possible can you please let me know.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your post. I am going to move this to the IC Design community where it will receive more visibility. This site is for questions on general community items or suggestions.
If you are using Calibre DESIGNrev, this Calibre How To video might help:
How to extract & highlight a net using Calibre DESIGNrev - YouTube
Thank you for your response, this is some thing similar to what i am looking for..
But In the above video we need to give the connectivity information based on original drawing layers, but we will be using some derived layers in extraction of electrical net in LVS. Calibre LVS deck is already establishing net connectivity, so i want to use that information in net extraction and want to export complete net into a new gds with only the layers present in that net..
Can we use Calibre LVS deck connectivity information here in extracting net?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Sorry for not getting back to you. I have not personally tried to do this sort of thing, so I'd be guessing. Perhaps it's possible with an annotated GDS. There are a few how to videos on those as well. This technote might be related: https://supportnet.mentor.com/portal?do=reference.technote&id=MG591614
