That's not helpful for me, because the color-Load example is using the Dx ColorObject which does not support all Color-Flags. Like Porperties!
I have wrote now my own script and replace after allocating the correct DxDesigner.xml, the Objects/Layers Part. It was a lot of work and it is definitely not a two-liner script, but it works very well.

There are a number of cases in which I use similar methods. Rewrite the setup file before Mentor uses it, so that when the function is executed, everything is pre-configured. It's kind of a brute-force method, but if there are no automation hooks into the setup, it may be the only way. Still far better than having the user go through and do all the setups manually every time they use it. Cases that come to mind are dxf export and gerber output from Expedition and/or Fablink.
You can only be as elegant as the underlying architecture allows you to be.
