In PADS Layout, beside of the airwires of unrouted signals, I see big gray cross-signs on vias, showing that connection is still missing (e.g. vias that are stitching towards a GND plane). Is there a way to turn off the visibility of these crosses or change the colour to black? It is quite annoying during layout because the are hiding large areas of the PCB.
I do know know what these "connectivity crosses" are called in PADS so that I could consult the help.
The crosses are referred to as thermal indicators or plane indicators. To disable them you can go to Tools > Options > Thermals and remove the check mark from "Show general plane indicators". When they are enabled, their color is directly inherited from the color assigned to your board outline in Setup > Display Colors.
