Use serial patterns for applying patterns externally, the parallel patterns are used to speed up debug of verilog vector simulations
First, you'd better switch to the supported "write_patterns" command.
I suggest asking your "tester/fab/production" colleague about the file format which is required by the tester which will be used.
If pattern file size is a problem, you can save files with the .gz extension and the tool will automatically generate a compressed file.
Most of the time, default parallel WGL/STIL is appropriate for production.
There are other considerations to have in mind when handing over a pattern set to production like future diagnostics etc..
Therefore, I suggest filing a service request on SupportCenter and attend a Tessent training course since you are new to Tessent.
