I am assuming that since the software requirements you pointed to specifically say CentOS 6.0 and not CentOS6 that it is in fact locked to that version? Are the requirements for RHEL less strict? I see RHEL 6 listed - does that mean 6.9 RHEL is supported?
Well, I checked the Platform installation Guide for AFS 2017 and the supported OS table in there specifically states CentOS 5.X, 6.X
so a bit of conflicting information. Suppose I can test to see...
The System Requirements table for the release is just an overview. There are too many specific requirements such as patches across hundreds of Mentor products to be covered in the our release database and download interface. For any Mentor release, please view the System Requirements in the download section as a starting point and refer to the specific release documentation for further detail (i.e.: "Analog FastSPICE Platform installation Guide")
