I'm just taking a look at HyperLynx DRC and it seems like a very usefully tool.
But unfortunately, my import options seem different to yours. In particular the HyperLynx (.hyp) format is missing.
I'm using the HyperLynx DRC 6.5.1 Free Edition. Maybe it is only available in the Gold Edition?
The difference is not caused by a license issue. Mentor is moving away from the .HYP file format, and replacing it with the more complete .CCE (from Mentor tools) or ODB++ (from just about all layout tools). With the addition of ODB++, you often have the choice to use either this format or the translation directly from your layout tool format. In general, ODB++ is better, but the quality and correctness of the ODB++ files depends on the layout tool that exported it. Test your options.
Thanks Weston. Much appreciated.
I tried ODB++ and it worked fine.
