Interesting, I just tested and I'm not seeing that.
- Rename (do not delete) the PartQuest folder in your wdir .
- Download a component, or double click your last downloaded .pqz file
- From the schematic, try Tools, Import PartQuest parts and the wizard should reset up the files.
If this works, then we can either reimport your previous downloads (stored in the renamed Imported directory, just copy them into the data store the .pqz file extracts to) or move the data from your current .mdb file to the new .mdb file.
If it doesn't work, or you have more questions, reply here, contact your support contact, or send an email to email@example.com
I did exactly what you said, and the error was gone. I could see that the parts are being imported into my databook.
However, the next days, when I have more parts imported from PartQuest, the same problem re-surfaced!!
Not sure what is going on? Thanks for helping.
Just to add on top of TYPE MISMATCH problem when importing parts from PartQuest, I also encounter edx file import problem when the AutoEDXImport = 1. See attached log files for both problem.
TYPE MISMATCH problem temporarily goes away the first time I rename the PartQuest folder and re-import parts, and setup new PartQuest folder.
But upon the next import, the problem re-surfaced.
Thank you for your time!
