lost net names

We just received a lot of boards back from the PCB assembly house and found 16 Ethernet traces missing.  Digging for the root cause found that in DxD VX.2.2 the net between the device pins and the offpage connectors were no longer named, so these nets got deleted from the PCB Layout (no connectivity errors there!).  This was the 4th revision of the design, so it seems very odd to suddenly lose names that had been there for 3 revisions.  Anybody seen anything similar in DxD?  Diagnostics indicates no database errors.

We confirmed it by running Verify with DRC-123 enabled and it caught this.  Lesson learned there.

Could be operator error, but selecting 16 nets and individually deleting the names isn't a casual error.  Weird.
