i want to set my personal email to this account but the field is grayed out, is there any workaround?
Hi Vytautas - thanks for you question. I am not having the same experience. I just did some testing with a separate test account, and the Personal Email field was enabled. I was able to add a separate email value, then save my changes with no issues.
This is the path I followed: Logged in>Edit Profile (in drop down by avatar)>add personal email in Personal Email field>Finished.
Please include an image of what you are seeing if different than above.
I wasn't clear, I want to set my private email as a main for this account.
At the moment it's employers email. I move to other company and want to keep this account.
Thanks for clarifying. Since we have single sign on (SSO) going between 2 systems (the Community members directory and our Support Center registrations) checking based on email occurs between them. They need to be in synch when you log in, otherwise an SSO error is displayed. These cases typically occur when a member's work email changes. Because of this, I need to make the change on the administrative side (and why individual users aren't allowed to change their email).
In your case, since you want to use your personal email, let's try my normal process for changing email and see if it works. Just be aware that you won't be able to log in with your Support Center credentials, but will need to use the new personal credentials. If it doesn't, you may have to create a new community registration with your personal email.

I've a similar problem due to a company name change from @lighting.com into @signify.com.
On Mentor SupportNet I login with @signify.com but when clicking on links to the Mentor Communities or Ideas I need to login with @lighting.com. When I try with @signify.com a new account is created.
So my question is how to change my email account without creating a new account?

Due to the single sign on between communities and Support Center, I need to make that adjustment on the back end. Just to confirm, you want your Communities log in to be based on your @signify.com email address, correct?

So indeed move my @lighting.com account into @signify.com and the prefix is identical.

Although there is SSO between Community and Support Center, by using previous work account (not this Mentor one), I succeeded in logging in Community but failed for Support Center.
Is there any relationship with its update to Siemens Support Center? Password should also be reset as Mentor users?
Moreover, inside Community, is it possible to move all contents created by my previous account to this Mentor account, and then delete this old account permanently?
