My Manager logged in on my computer and now it automatically logs in as him. How can I change or clear his log in so I can log in with my credentials?
When he is logged in -> log out / sign out
Then directly log in with your credentials.
I suggest to not select "Remember my login" or "Save login" (Can vary between Browsers)
Just in case your manager is not planning to log in soon, another method is to force the system to ask you to login.
If you are not able to do the following (IT departments may prevent this) then go back to the above answer.
Make a shortcut on the desktop for the tool you wish to log into.
This can be done by dragging and dropping the exe file for a tool (e.g. CapitalDesign.exe) onto the desktop using the mouse right button.
Make sure you do not move the exe file itself to the desktop!
Now select the shortcut and from the popup right mouse button select the properties and add " -login" at the end.
Please see the example below.
Now when you click on the shortcut icon on the desktop the login dialog will appear.
Pat, above question was posted in the Member Resources and Feedback community so I believe it is related to Mentor Graphics communities login rather than Capital client login .
My apologies - I automatically assumed Capital.
In that case I would assume that pressing the Logout button would result in the site then asking you to enter username and password to login in again.
If that does not work then it may be saved in the registry and that is something to ask your IT department about please.
You should also delete the cookies and cache from your computer.
Phillip - thanks for your suggestion. To the original poster, I hope deleting the cookies and cache took care of the issue -- I would have expected it too. If it didn't please post back here. For now, I will mark this thread as assumed answered.
