    Relational operation on a VARIABLE using SVRF

    sanketkumar.patel@cirrus.com

      Hi,

      I have set variable value using

      VARIABLE width  1.1

      Now, I want to do something like this.

      If width < 1 then ... do something  and else do something else.

      So, I want to know how to check if variable value is greater than or less than some specific value.

      Please help.

      Thanks

      sam

          The constraint should work; here is an example from the SVRF manual:

          VARIABLE METAL_SPACING 2
          Rule_6.4 {
          @ Metal spacing must be ^METAL_SPACING microns.
          EXTERNAL metal < METAL_SPACING }

          How are you doing the if/then/else statement?  TVF would only see the VARIABLE setting if you use tvf::svrf_var; #IFDEF doesn't see it at all. (Preprocessor directives are evaluated before the SVRF statements -- that is what makes them preprocessor.)
