I recently fell over a possible flaw in scripting, or I just don't know how to get my scripts right: I had two instances of dxdesigner open, working with both schematics. When I ran one of my scripts (e.g. for exporting the schematics to pdf), only the project from the instance that was opened earlier was exported as pdf. The second instance seemed to be "invisible" to the scripting engine.
Has anyone encountered that behavior before? Is there a way to run a script from the instance I currently work with, instead of the earlier opened instance?
If you want to run a script directly on the applications scripting engine you can use set Vdapp = application instead of using Set vdapp = GetObject(,"Viewdraw.Application")
If are are connecting to viewdraw with an external application you can try this solution: Re: Connect to second dxdesigner?
