1. Re: Help with board cut out
md.direct Oct 12, 2018 11:06 AM (in response to mgabutti)My guess is the board cut you did is now considered a Board Outline.
By the way, placing a Mounting Hole is done by placing a Part that is made of 1 pin with a single Through-Hole pad.

2. Re: Help with board cut out
mgabutti Oct 12, 2018 11:18 AM (in response to md.direct)I am a new PADS user, this is a bummer, after all the work I put into it I don't want to lose the design because of a single hole. So if I place a Part with a single Through-hole pad that is consider a mounting hole? How do I change the diameter of the hole? These mounting holes need to be a lot bigger in diameter than a through hole component.
Thanks

wheelspcb Oct 12, 2018 11:36 AM (in response to mgabutti)What menu is grayed out. Should be able to right mouse button and choose "Select board outline" to select cutout and modify or delete. Post you file and we can fix if needed.

4. Re: Help with board cut out
md.direct Oct 12, 2018 11:38 AM (in response to mgabutti)Create a Decak having only one pin #1, at 0,0 and with the proper pad size and drill size.
Assign this decal to a PartType with a name that make some sense.
i.e.: Decal Name: MTG250x125 ---> (Pad 250mils Drilled 125mils)
PartType Name: MTG250x125 (ECO Registered preferably set to no)
Place PartType MTG250x125 where needed.

md.direct Oct 12, 2018 12:04 PM (in response to mgabutti)Can you delete those Board Cut ? If not, I would suggest to redo the bOard Outline, simply.

md.direct Oct 12, 2018 12:05 PM (in response to md.direct)You could also ASCII out the PCB, edit the file to remove those and re-import the ASCII file, but that requires a bit of manipulation inside the ASCII file.

9. Re: Help with board cut out
mgabutti Oct 12, 2018 12:10 PM (in response to md.direct)I think I fixed the issue, I recreated the circle with a 2d line in the same exact position of the board cut out then deleted the board cut out.
Thanks!
