How to make Reference Designator visible on Top and Bottom

Hi everyone,

after quiet a long time using DxDesigner for schematic capturing, I'm now going to start with PADS Layout. I think, I got the basics, so now some more sophisticated stuff is on the table. What I want to do is to make the reference designator of some parts visible on Top layer and Bottom layer as well.

Why do I want this? On our boards we got parts like spacers or plated holes that pierce the whole board. During initial function tests the need arises to replace a resistor or so. The holes are good for orientation, and it is way more convenient if you can find the hole on your placement plan regardless of the layer you are looking at.

On way I already figured out is to add a new part label. But as I see this, you have to do his on each design separately, so I would prefer a way to add the reference designator twice to the decal.

I hope, you can help me.

Kind regards,

Georg
