I’m trying to put in place a QEMU/TLM co-simulation environment with Questa 2019.1 for Xilinx Zynq-7000 platform. For this purpose, Xilinx provides the libsystemctlm-soc library which is basically based on sockets for communicating between QEMU and the TLM platform.
I’ve managed to compile both sources and example with Questa (some fixes need) and I can connect the Questa simulation to the QEMU socket. However, then after the connection between the two sides seems broken (as soon as QEMU try to perform access to TLM world).
Are they any know limitations of using socket-based libraries in SystemC/TLM simulation with Questa 2019.1 ?
Note that its works perfectly with the Accellera SystemC 2.3.1 simulator engine.
I couldn't find any known issues, you may want to contact your support representatives at Xilinx or Mentor to assist you with this.
