Making locked items unselectable in EEVx.2.3

    vachhanik

      Hello,

I'm trying to create duplicate placement by locking one set of already placed parts and placing new ones on top of it.

When trying to move parts that are placed on top of locked parts, it trying to move locked parts creating error.

Is there a way to make locked parts unselectable?

      Thanks

      Ken

Creating duplicate placement (and routing) is very easy. In 'select' mode, select everything you want to copy. Components, traces, via's etc.

Click the RMB and select copy from the menu. The software will look for an identical circuit and copies it.

No need to place components on top of each other.

            Thank you for your reply,

Is there a KB article or any tutorial videos on this?

I do have access to Expedition flow training material online.

            Thank You,

            Ken

This may not be related to this topic but is there a way to book mark KB articles when logged in to support mentor?
