I'm having a problem when exporting a schematic to PDF from DX designer.
All but the 1st page lose their page names.
Any idea what setting I'm missing?
It might be behind the sheet border symbol in the PDF, it would be better to make it one of the special @ properties embedded in the sheet border symbol.
Firstly we will move this to the correct community so it gets better visibility.
Secondly can you provide more information please?
What are you using as Page Name - which property and can you provide a picture of the schematic with the name and the PDF without to give some clues.
Hi Robert, here is an example of the name on the schematic page and the absence in the PDF.
Also take a look at this video to see if it helps Customizing sheet borders: Part 1
One clue that might help is that if I generate a PDF using a historic schematic, I get the same result.
This would indicate a tool config setting??
What property is POWER1 in your example above? On the schematic you also have 15 but in the PDF 2, are these page numbers?
It would indicate that you need to propagate the properties down through your schematics and then export the PDF. If you click on the traffic light at the bottom of Designer it should open the Project Integration Module - this will indicate if properties need updating - click on any of the amber traffic lights.
Otherwise it looks like an issue with your sheet border symbol - the video should help with how to set this up.
To resolve this I would suggest you call support, they will be able to ask the right questions more quickly than trying to use this forum.
It looks like the sheet name is a text box placed on top of the title block, rather than a component of it. This looks OK in the editor, but must be confusing PDF writer.
