I am trying to create a new part using a number of gates.
I want to use the same principle of the logic device CD4093 for example, which is a 2 input quad NAND gate.
The CD4093 symbol has 4 gates (A, B, C and D), in a 14 pin package.
I would like to create my own part using this principle.
The part I am trying to create is a micro, in a 100 pin LQFP package.
Rather than have one large schematic symbol with 100 pins, I would like to split the symbol into parts (i.e. gates).
To help explain what Im trying to do you can refer to the attached pdf file.
The micro "IC2" is split into gates A, B, C, D and E.
Is it possible to do create this same symbol in PADS Logic ?
Notice how the number of pins on each gate will be different - is this a problem ?
Do the number of pins on each gate have to be the same when creating gates in PADS logic ?
Any help on how to create this part would be greatly appreciated.
