Are you plotting in Black & White vs. Greyscale ?
I assume your wire text is in the middle of the wire? The actual reason it is doing this is because VeSys is using an ingenious method of hiding the Wire behind the text rather than having to managing the complexitiy of breaking the line (as it turns out this is quite a common practise, once we had implemented this we noticed thats what everyone else seems to do!). Anyway to do this VeSys actually defines a filled in rectangular background behind the text which is slightly bigger than the text which happens to be the same color as the background you are using - the wire then goes behind this background colored rectangle.
Hopefully from the explanation above you can see why it appears that your wire text is "censored", this is when something it happening that to actually print the background color as a black which abscures the text. In order to resolve this I'd try changing your background color in AutoCAD (I'm not 100% but I think it is best to have the background as black) and then try printing again, let me know if this fixes it.
thank you for your help Sledgehammer.
