Does anyone know if this can be done?
Hi Mike and Nick
You should be able to add a backshell and a termination for it if you right click on the connector and select "Add Backshell" a dialog box will apear asking for a name for the backshell and you can define one or more terminations. You can use a symbol to indicate the terminations in the process.
Te terminations are placed and lok just like pins so you can terminate a shield termination onto them.
Let me know if this solves the problem or not.
Thanks for the reply. I don't see the "Add Backshell" choice from the right click menu in VeSys 2.0 in wiring. The only option I have to add is "Add Pin". Is this option only available in Harness?
I apologize, it seems I have made a mistake here. VeSys 2.0 does not have backshell support, so I think the alternative is to just create another pin and give it a special name (BST; for BackShellTermination). This is through VeSys 2.0 Wiring.
